Canuckle's Answer for May 14th, 2022

Here's how I figured out the solution to Canuckle 94 in just five guesses today. I began with the word 'MAPLE,' which was a bad guess for today's term because none of the letters appear in the solution. I then made a guess at the word 'HOUND,' hoping to figure out the vowels in the response. This was a wonderful guess because it revealed that the answers contain an O, U, and N, but they are incorrectly arranged. I guessed the word 'SNOUT' next because I assumed the O and U would be combined in the term. This did not accurately put any letters, however, it did disclose that the word has an S. I wanted to see if the U was the second letter because the O and U are not near to each other. I also wanted to see if the word contained an I, so I guessed 'JUICE' next.

This was an excellent prediction because it correctly located the J and U. This meant I had all of the letters in the word and only needed to rearrange them to solve Canuckle 94, which is JUNOS.
