MLB The Show 22: How to Unsquad a Player

Trying to unsquad a player in Major League Baseball One of the most annoying aspects of the game is the Show Diamond Dynasty. When attempting to sell a player, you will frequently see a message stating that they must be removed from an active squad before being sold, but no instructions on how to do so. This is your step-by-step guide to rapidly and painlessly unsquadding players.

How to Unsquad a Player in MLB The Show 22

To unsquad a player in Diamond Dynasty, go to the Manage Squad option. Once you've arrived, you should be able to see your squad's field view. If you go to the player you wish to eliminate, you should see an option to sub them out underneath them. If you choose this option, they will be removed from your team and you will be free to sell or replace them.

If you do this and then try to sell the player you just removed from your squad, you can get the unsquad player error notice. If this is the case, the player will almost certainly need to be removed from an active tournament squad. To do so, go to multiplayer mode and then to the events option to see your event team. Remove the player in the same manner as explained previously, and you're good to go. Check out this guide for completing a mystery quest for more information on current MLB The Show 22 events.
