Stray: How to pop Zurks using UV Light

In the most recent adventure game, Stray, you take on the role of a cat who must flee a neon-lit cybercity while solving old puzzles and retrieving forgotten memories. Enemies will be waiting for you along the way in every city lane, making your escape more challenging. Zurks, which resemble giant fleas and prey on cats and robots, are one type of enemy you can run into. Therefore, using some sort of equipment would be the most efficient way to get rid of them. Thankfully, you can combat Zurks that stand in your way using the UV Light from the B-12 toolset.

Fight Zurks using UV Light in Stray

You need the Defluxor, a UV light-emitting gadget, in order to pop Zurks in Stray. In the Dead End level, Seamus will ask you to locate Doc, one of the Outsiders. Find the Defluxor in Doc's workshop once you've met him. After that, Doc will ask you to switch the generator's fuse so he may replenish the Defluxor. Doc will fix the Defluxor and put it on your drone after you have changed the generator fuse and made sure it works.

To pop the Zurks when using the Defluxor, simply direct the UV light at them. Just keep in mind that if you shoot at the incubator, more Zurks will be born as a result. Additionally, the UV lamp features a temperature meter that can be used to determine whether it has been misused for a brief period of time. The UV light will overheat if you use it too frequently, which will require you to wait a long time for it to cool down. So, to keep the gun from getting too hot, it is best to always aim in short, controlled bursts.
