Cyberpunk 2077: How to play as Edgerunner's Rebecca

Both critics and admirers of the open-world action game Cyberpunk 2077: Edgerunners are heaping praise on the freshly released Netflix anime series. The show rivals the game it is based on with its brief but spectacular and engrossing storytelling. One of the best things about Edgerunner is that it has a lot of interesting characters, like the mysterious main character David Martinez and his sweet friend Lucyna Kushinada. There are also a lot of other characters who play important roles.

Players can simply duplicate each character's unique skills, traits, and cybernetic enhancements in Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners to create some incredibly entertaining character builds. One such Netflix anime character is Rebecca, who is not only a strong and capable force but also owns a distinctive shotgun that was just recently included in the game via the Edgerunners update. Here is a quick guide on how to play as Rebecca and get her famous shotgun in Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners build guide: How to play as Rebecca and get her shotgun

Being one of the only characters in the anime series Edgerunners that relies on guns and artillery rather than cybernetic augmentation makes Rebecca one of the most fascinating characters. She has a vast collection of weaponry at her disposal to employ against her foes. After installing the Edgerunners update, players can obtain one of them in-game: her distinctive shotgun. Rebecca's build is very focused on weaponry, and she can practically use any weapon in the game, from light, quick handguns to powerful machine guns and cutting-edge tech weapons. Players can almost use any weapon in the game by simply adding points to the Reflexes and Body skill trees.

How to get Rebecca's shotgun, Guts, in Cyberpunk 2077

Rebecca's famous shotgun, appropriately named Guts, is the biggest and most significant component of the build. It kicks adversaries from a distance and deals damage, unlike any other weapon in the game. It is both loud and annoying. According to the weapon's description, the shotgun will "even though it can be a little erratic, cause gory mayhem, similar to its first owner." Because of the weapon's incredible amount of recoil, using it frequently feels like using a real bazooka. The ability for players to fire two shots quickly after one another is one of the Guts' most impressive features. The reload and recovery, however, take a while.

Follow the steps listed below to find the shotgun in the game:

  • Download and install the most recent Edgerunners game update.
  • The Guts shotgun is situated in a small area of vegetation on the southern side of Memorial Park's inner ring. This is the huge circular space in the downtown area's Corpo Plaza.
  • Traveling to the Arasaka Tower fast travel point is the quickest way to reach the destination.
  • From there, head south and then upward to the park's upper terrain. Follow the walkway in either direction to locate some stairs to achieve this.
  • Take the stairs to the top of the plaza, where there are raised walkways encircling the park and a space made of blue glass in the middle.
  • Go to the southernmost point of this circle, in front of the Militech structure and across from Arasaka Tower.
  • Monks can be seen meditating near some lit floor panels at the top of the steps.
  • There are some plants and hedges behind the monks. The weapon should be waiting in the grass once you pass the monks.
  • The shotgun is located under the first bush on the left, but ideally, the indicator for the loot should appear immediately.

The release of Cyberpunk 2077 was undoubtedly one of the worst failures in gaming history. Future creators will be guided by the technological polish—or lack thereof—of the game to avoid making the grave error of releasing games before they are ready. At its debut, Cyberpunk 2077 was plagued by pretty much every conceivable technical issue, including jerky framerates, glitchy textures, broken AI and quests, and frequent crashes.

On the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which are last-generation systems, the game's technical faults were significantly worse, making the game all but unplayable. Because the situation on consoles was so terrible, Sony had to temporarily remove the game from the PlayStation Store and provide refunds to customers who purchased the game from the digital storefront. Even though the game has some technical problems, gamers who stuck with it through the whole thing agreed that Cyberpunk 2077 has one of the most interesting stories in video games.

The game has been patched, and CD PROJEKT RED is concentrating on the future of the IP with the announcement of Phantom Liberty, the first story expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. With the coming DLC, it will be interesting to see if the Polish developer keeps the story going and makes it even more interesting.
